During World War II, due to military policy at that time,「Chubu Electric Power」was established according to the  wartime integration. After the end of the war, This company became reorganized by GHQ. During that time,「Chubu Electric Power」inherited partial business area of「Japan Electric Generation and Transmission Company(日本発送電株式会社)」.

 

Currently,「Chubu Electric Power」is an electric power company that covers the entire area of ​​Aichi and Nagano prefectures, and most of Kifu, Mie and Shizuoka prefectures. Since its establishment, this company is promoting its business mainly in the Chubu region. Of course, they are also selling electricity to major manufacturing companies such as「Toyota Motor Corporation(トヨタ自動車)」.
