「Kajima Corporation」is well known for their technology in constructing skyscrappers in Japan.  Of couse, they constructed many of Japan's tallest skyscrapers, including 「Kasumigaseki Building(霞が関ビルディング)」, the first skyscraper in Japan, 「Roppongi Hills(六本木ヒルズ)」 and 「GranTokyo(グラントウキョウ)」were also constructed by Kajima.

In April 2017, in cooperation with「J. Front Retailing Co., Ltd.,(J.フロント リテイリング)」, this company constructed 「GINZASIX」, the largest commercial facility that is consisted of mainly high-end stores in Ginza. In addition, 「Kajima Corporation」conducted the redevelopment of Tokyo Station Yaesu and Akihabara districts, and maintenance and restoration work at Marunouchi Station. In 1977, a Korean construction company, 「SOCIO」, built a bridge from Koror Island(Isla de Koror) to the airport. However, less than 20 years after the construction, about 1.2m of sinkages appear. On September 26, 1996, the bridge became completely collapsed from its middle section.

At that time, Palauan President Kunio Nakamura issued a State of Emergency Declaration. At that time, the Palau government had abandoned the reconstruction of the bridge for financial reasons, but in 1997 a decision was made to rebuild the bridge with Japanese grant aid. At this time,「Kashima Construction」had been selected, and was in charge of reconstruction work. Eventually, in January 2002, the「Japan-Palau Friendship Bridge」was completed.
