This company has second largest sales in Japan in fisheries industry and only「Maruha Nichiro Corporation」who conducted management integration has bigger sales compare with 「Nippon suisan kaisha」. The operating history is more than 100 years  and it has been a leading company in Japanese seafood and frozen food industries. They also has a fine chemicals business, which let them access higher profit than average the fisheries company.

Besides, 「Nippon suisan kaisha」also has "Global Links", which is a kind of supply chain that was formed by numerous oversea partner companies around the world. Owing to this  cooperation with this "Local Links", this comapny was allowed to develop and set up their own business in world-classlevel.
