「Sumitomo Osaka Cement」came from「Iwaki Cement Co., Ltd.(磐城セメント)」, which was established in Fukushima Prefecture in 1907. In the time of World War II, this company was transferred to「Sumitomo Group」then changed its name to「Sumitomo Cement」.
